About This Botanical
The Cebu Blue Pothos (Epipremnum pinnatum 'Cebu Blue'), available in 4" and 6" nursery pots, is a distinctive vining plant known for its silvery-blue metallic sheen. Its slender, elongated foliage cascades beautifully from hanging baskets or climbs moss poles.
How to Care for Cebu Blue Pothos: Position in bright, indirect light to enhance its shimmering blue-green color. Water thoroughly when the top 1–2 inches of potting mix feel dry, preventing waterlogged roots. When repotting, use a coarse tropical aroid blend containing perlite and bark for free drainage.
Identification: Cebu Blue is Epipremnum pinnatum, not Epipremnum aureum, featuring narrow silvery-blue leaves that develop mature splits when climbing.
Pet Safety: Contains insoluble calcium oxalates; toxic to cats and dogs if ingested.
