- 2Water. A check, not a schedule. Water when the soil is dry to the depth shown.
- 3Care level. Easy forgives a late watering and a range of light. Moderate wants steady light and a soil check before each watering.
- 4Pot. The nursery pot sizes the plant comes in. Pick a planter a little wider, with a drainage hole.
- 5Size. The pot diameter in inches, shown as a circle you can compare. Sizes that are sold out are dimmed and labeled.
The light-by-window guide. It shows what each window gives, assuming a home in the United States: north is low, east is gentle morning light, south is brightest and west is strong afternoon light. The windows that suit the plant are outlined and marked “Fits”. Not sure about your window? Use the light calculator.
