Calathea 'White Fusion'
Goeppertia lietzei 'White Fusion' (syn. Calathea)
Green leaves streaked with white, with lilac undersides.
About This Botanical
Calathea 'White Fusion' has some of the most striking leaves in the prayer plant family. Each one is splashed and streaked with white over light and dark green, and the undersides are lilac. Like other calatheas, the leaves move through the day and lift a little at night.
This one is fussier than most calatheas. It does best in medium indirect light, soil that stays lightly moist, and humidity around 50% or higher. A humidifier or a spot in a bright bathroom helps a lot. Crispy brown edges usually mean the air is too dry, and curled leaves usually mean it's thirsty. Filtered or rain water keeps the tips cleaner.
Ships in the grower's plastic nursery pot.

“Why are my White Fusion leaves getting crispy?”
Dry air is the usual cause, followed by letting the soil dry out or minerals in tap water. Raise the humidity, keep the soil evenly moist, and switch to filtered or rain water.
