Arrowhead Plant 'White Butterfly' (Syngonium podophyllum)
Syngonium podophyllum 'White Butterfly'
Pale, silvery-green arrow-shaped leaves on a fast, easy plant.
About This Botanical
'White Butterfly' is one of the easiest arrowhead plants. Its leaves are mostly pale, silvery green with darker edges, and they start out arrow-shaped and get more lobed as the plant matures. Young plants stay bushy. Older ones start to vine, and you can let them trail or give them a small pole to climb.
Water when the top inch of soil is dry and keep it in medium to bright indirect light. It tolerates less light, but the leaves turn greener. If you'd rather keep it compact, pinch back the long stems and it fills out.
Ships in the grower's plastic nursery pot.
