About This Botanical

Broccoli microgreens are one of the most nutritionally dense foods you can grow—packed with sulforaphane, a powerful antioxidant compound found in concentrations far higher than in mature broccoli. Their mild, slightly peppery flavor with subtle cabbage notes makes them incredibly versatile, perfect for topping sandwiches, salads, soups, and grain bowls without overpowering other flavors. One of the most rewarding crops for home growing and one of the best beginner varieties.

Grow in trays using coconut coir or potting mix—broccoli microgreens germinate reliably and are ready to harvest in under two weeks. Keep evenly moist and harvest when cotyledons are fully open for peak flavor and nutrition.
