Chinese Evergreen 'Ruby' (Aglaonema)
Aglaonema 'Ruby Garuda'
Hot-pink and red foliage on one of the toughest low-light houseplants.
About This Botanical
Chinese Evergreen 'Ruby' (Aglaonema 'Ruby Garuda') has pointed leaves washed in vivid pink and red. Chinese evergreens are known for tolerating ordinary indoor light and irregular watering, so this one adds strong color without being fussy.
Colorful aglaonemas keep their best color in medium to bright indirect light, but they will cope with lower light. Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry and keep it away from cold drafts (below 60°F). ASPCA lists Chinese evergreen (Aglaonema) as toxic to cats and dogs (insoluble calcium oxalates). Keep it out of reach of pets and children.
Choose a nursery grow pot or our black recycled-plastic Eco Pot. Covered by our 30-day Live Arrival Guarantee.
