The leaves rise slightly at night and open again in the morning.

Calatheas are known for being a little fussy, and most problems come down to water and air. They like evenly moist soil, filtered or distilled water if your tap water is hard, and higher humidity than most homes have in winter. Crispy brown edges usually mean dry air or minerals in the water. Keep them in bright indirect light; direct sun fades and scorches the leaves.

Ships in the grower's plastic nursery pot.

Care card

Light: Medium to bright indirect light.
